Fine Art and Photography
Artist
Kimberly has had passion for painting since she was a very young child. “I absolutely love to paint. It is so relaxing, and when I’m ‘in the zone’ the world disappears and it’s just me and my canvas.” During the past few years she has been studying with artists such as David Lussier, Pam Lussier, Water Bartman, and Susan Lyon and has learned a great deal. Oils are her favorite, but she also enjoys drawing and working with pastels and watercolors.
photographer
Kimberly is an avid birder, and while trying to get nice bird pictures during “Snowmageddon” (2010)" she fell in love with photography. She specializes in photographing wildlife, landscapes, and events such as concerts. “I grew up in the ‘80s, so when I was asked to take pictures of an REO Speedwagon concert I was nervous but thrilled. I had never taken pictures like that before, but they turned out great and I was hooked. I went on to photograph many other famous bands such as Styx, Cheap Trick, Heart, Hewy Lewis and the News, Rick Springfield, Pat Benatar, Foreigner, and others.”
